Special Comp: Ellie's Suite

Hey guys,

Now lately, I have been getting a bit bored of my suite and its rooms. I want a new look using the items that I already have but never got round to thinking of something or ideas to redecorate.

So, I'm calling on all of you readers help!

TASK: Your competition task is to re-design as many of my rooms in my suite as you like (no. of rooms refurbished will not increase or decrease your mark in judging) using these items that I already have:

These are really just the basics that are in my storage but you can use ANY item in ANY of the rooms that are already there!

ONCE COMPLETED: Once you have completed refurbishing my room(s), take a print screen and put the photo on tinypic.com!! Then post the link along with your name under the post Ellie's Suite Comp in the new club TSE-Comps. (click to go to club page).

DUE DATE: Entries must be in by 15th May 2010.

PRIZES: Two SS gifts of your choice (both under $5)

SUITE OF THE MONTH!! VIPdivas

Congratulations to VIPdivas for having the best suite of the month.

As soon as I saw her suite, I thought it looked amazing so that is why I chose it.

Here are 4 rooms form her suite but you should take a look at the rest of the rooms.

NEW STARDOLL MEMBERS!

Hey Guys,

New members get to experience a whole new beginning to Stardoll.com!
So here is the lead up process that new members go through before they get to "play" and have "fun"!

Firstly, they are bought to this screen:
Here they can choose an outfit from a variety of choices for both boys and girls. There are even DKNY Shoes (from the latest collection) and a Vivienne Tam Jacket!!!

Or you can choose the CUSTOM option which just gives you the old basic Start Up clothes (black skirt, white top, tights, jeans).

Once they choose their "look" they are then directed to this screen:
Here they can stylize their eyes, hair, nose, etc or as we know it, the "MeDoll Editor".
Now you will notice that this MeDoll has makeup! 
Now, all new members are given makeup as a part of the Clothing Style they chose!

They are then bought to this screen where the new members are brainwashed by a marketing video, to purchase SS Membership!

After they have been brainwashed, but parents won't give them money for a virtual world, they are taken to this page, or their suite:
They again, only have one room and are given the old basic Start Up furniture (chair, bookcase, table, vanity).
And then if you confirm the email, you will receive only 5 (not 10 gifts like before).

So there we have it, they new system of joining Stardoll. If you would like to create a new account, click HERE to the Sign Up page!  Just make sure that you are logged out of your old account before going to the link, otherwise it won't work.

Anyways, all you have to do is dress up the two dolls and save them in your album!!!

FREE Victoria Secret Wings, Shoes & Hat

FREE ANTM Cardigan!!!

Tuesday has come around and ANTM (America's Next Top Model) has released it's next gift! It's cardigan!! Personally, I think it looks a bit sailor-ish!

If you are from the UK, click HERE to go to the cinema, watch the full video clip and go to your suite.

But if you aren't from the UK, follow these steps to get the item:

1. Log out of Stardoll and close all stardoll.com related pages from your Internet browser

2. Press CTRL+ SHIFT + DEL to clear your browsers cache and cookies.

8. Watch the video clip right until the end

9. Go to your suite and open the gift box!

New (Valentine's) Gifts!!

FREE New Zealand Painting!!

FREE Valentines Gift!!

If you get invited or host a party, you will receive a Valentine's box of chocolates!!! (Only if the host sets that to the gift giveaway).
See here on this invitation, it says "Valentine Party Gift"!!!

And then you get this box of chocolates in your suite (mine was a bit delayed, so don't stress if you don't get it straight away)!

FREE ANTM Dress!!!

Tuesday has come around and ANTM (America's Next Top Model) has released it's next gift! It's only one item again, but it is yet another gorgeous dress!!

UPDATES TO STARDOLL!!

WOW! There is two new (small) updates Stardoll! One is with the Chat and the other when sent a gift!!

Update 1: Chat

Stardoll has updated Chat in these ways-
<> Non-SS colour changed from blue to pink
<> When you get a message, the little light will flash to indicate that you have a message
<> The person who sent you a message moves to the top of the list
<> The person who sent you a message has a little speech bubble next to their name

Update 2: Gifts
Stardoll has updated the "gift giving" thing (sorry dont know what to call it). If you receive a gift you will still get it in the normal box, but when you open the gift box and hover over the gift item, the persons username and a link to their page will appear.
