NEW STARDOLL IS HERE!

Hey guys,

That's right! You heard correctly!! The new Stardoll is here! The Big Makeover is complete!!!
Here is the start page:

I quite like the new layout of things! Its easier to view and navigate (but it will need some time to get used to, hehe =] )!

But the thing that really bugs me is CHAT!!! Its really small (especially the font) and you have no idea whether your friend is a Non-SS or SS!!

Makeover 2010 Spoilers Compilation!!

UPDATE 3: Stardoll is practically here!!!! Thanks to lilmissmiriam for the info, I had to take a peep! Just look at this: (double click to enlarge)

Well... as you could see in the first update, it says that we can still play with Dolls & Games!!! Well if you go to http://www.stardoll.com/en/dolls-games/ you can see the whole new layout!!

Unfortunately though, because it isn’t entirely ready yet, you can’t log in or go anywhere else other than the Dolls & Games page.
But if you can get in, and manage to see anything else, make sure you let me know!!

UPDATE 2: Stardoll has updated their "updating" screen with the new layout!!!!! Hehe =] See here:

The Big Makeover, I bet, will be coming today!!! So keep your eyes peepered!!!

Hey guys,

Before I officially leave Stardoll.com and this blog, I really want to see Stardoll's Big Makeover 2010!!! I mean seriously, don't you? Hehe =]

Anyways, I absolutely LOVE looking through spoilers and sneak peaks that have been around lately and I thought, what better why to get a decent understanding of the upcoming Stardoll, than to have all the spoilers together on one post?!?!?!

So, on this Friday morning (deciding I had nothing else better to do hehe) I searched Stardoll and it's Official Blog to find ALL the spoilers possible!!

Also, I have to give many thanks to underneathstardoll.blogspot.com (for the pictures with their logo on it) and a shout out to hotbuysbazaar.blogspot.com for the Stardoll TV Ad!

So here they are!!!

Spoiler #1:

Here we can see that the curtains have opened half-way and are showing a sneak preview of what the Start page will look like. From this, we can gather the layout seen from DRAFT LAYOUTS that got spilled quite a while ago. This leads us to Spoiler #2...


Spoiler #2:

In this sneak peak, we can see what the new My Page; Suite will look like. You can see that the Avastar has been moved up to the TOP right hand corner and you can also see a clear view of the new colour scheme Stardoll is going for. This leads us to a more detailed spoiler of the Suites in Spoiler 3#...


Spoiler #3:

As shown in this picture, we will most likely be saying goodbye to our little pink "toolbars" at the bottom of out Suites:

Instead of this, you can see that near the white door, there is an arrow. My assumption is that we will click on this and something similar to the "toolbar" will appear.

You can also see an opaque arrow towards the bottom left hand corner, this I assume will be the moving arrows that so that we can scan the whole room.

Spoiler #4:

As conveyed in the image, this is what our StarBazaar's will look like. It is still unknown whether this is our PERSONAL Bazaar (containing only our "For Sale" items) or the ACTUAL Bazaar (containing all items in all StarBazaar's).

Spoiler #5:

This image was posted on Stardoll's Twitter Page yesterday. It's a sneak peek  of what out new album's will look like. Again, like our new Suites, it has the arrow on the right hand side which is assumed, when clicked/hovered over, will show some sort of menu with Album Cover, Clothes, Furniture, Text, etc.

Thanks to USD, this and the next 2 images are assumed to be advertisements that will be shown around the Stardoll site promtoing their Big Makeover of 2010.

This is a video of a TV Ad that Stardoll added about a month ago on YouTube. Watch it a couple of times, even though the voice is extremely annoying, then look below at the following sneak peaks (I took screen shots of some of the new things that I picked out).
Keep in mind that this was posted ONE MONTH ago, so I can't guarantee that the following 3 spoilers will be accurate. They are just screen prints out of the video ;-]


Spoiler #10:

As you can see in this spoiler, the make up section is totally different! It's not as spaced out and "formal" as the one we have in the MeDoll Editor now. Also, I just noticed that the Blushes are a lot bigger than the Eyeshadows. This will make it easier to identify and less clicking of the UNDO buttom, hehe =]


Spoiler #11:

As you can see, the items that I have circled are usually found in our Suites! Hopefully this means that any Jewelry or Accessories found in our Suites/Closet will be placed in "Accessories" department of our MeDoll Editors! Making it much easier to fully "dress" ourselves!


Spoiler #12:

As seen in the TV Ad Video, this maybe the new cover look for the Stardoll Magazine! Definitely a much more stylish and chic approach to it! I love it!


Spoiler #13:

This picture wasn't in the TV Ad Video, but I noticed it when I bought a few items from the Starplaza! As you can see on this Stardoll Recipt, the MeDoll Editor will no longer be called that! Instead it's name will be the Beauty Parlor!

How to get starpoints

Hey everyone :)

Today I am going to talk about starpoints. Starpoints are like the stardoll staff giving you a reward for being an active member of stardoll. These starpoints give you gifts, Here are a few ways you can earn more starpoints

Be an active member by...

- Joining clubs

- Making sceneries ( It works if you make 5 a day and then the next day delete them and make 5 more and so on) you only have to have at least 1 item in the scenery for you to get starpoints

- Dress up your doll every day. Make sure you change your medolls outfit every day

- Add things to your album ( Only has to be 1 item everyday )

- Sign peoples albums, sceneries, and guestbook
